LinkedIn Strategy for B2B Founders, Executives and Consultants
A clear LinkedIn plan built around your commercial goal, so every post, profile change and connection moves you towards it.
What is a LinkedIn strategy?
A LinkedIn strategy is a plan for how a person or business will use LinkedIn to reach a specific goal, such as leads, hiring, fundraising or speaking. It covers who you need to reach, how your profile should position you, what content to publish and how often, who to connect and engage with, and how you'll turn attention into results. Kurogo, a London-based personal branding agency, builds LinkedIn strategies using its Position, Amplify, Convert model and data from more than 400 personal brands. A good LinkedIn strategy starts with the goal, not the posting schedule.
Who it's for
- Founders who post regularly but can't point to a single deal that came from it
- Consultants and advisors who know LinkedIn matters but don't know what to change
- Executives who want a clear plan they can run themselves or hand to their team
- Heads of Marketing building a LinkedIn programme for the CEO or leadership team
- Anyone whose LinkedIn activity has drifted away from what their business now sells
How it works
We build your strategy across all three stages of the Kurogo Model: Position (how you're seen), Amplify (how you're found) and Convert (how you're chosen).
Week 1: Audit. We review your profile and your audience data: who sees you, who follows you, and which posts drive saves, profile visits and followers. We also audit the accounts your audience already follows.
Week 2: Position. We define your goal, your ideal client profile and your Promise, Proof and Packaging. We then set out how your profile needs to change so a stranger understands your value within three seconds.
Week 3: Amplify. We set your content pillars, your Growth, Authority and Conversion mix and your posting rhythm. The mix depends on your price point. High-ticket and long sales cycles need more Authority content. Lower-ticket offers need more Growth content and volume. We also plan who to connect with and which conversations to join.
Week 3: Convert. We design the route from post to client: the lead magnet, landing page, booking step and follow-up. Only around 5% of your market is ready to buy now; the strategy has to capture the other 95% too.
Week 4: Walkthrough and handover. We take you through the full strategy on a call and agree the KPIs we'll judge it by. You can run it yourself, hand it to your team or have us run it for you.
Our recommendations come from live data, not old rules. Our own analysis of 102 posts, for example, found that personal stories drove the most new followers, teaching posts earned the most saves, and posts with links got about half the reach but higher save rates.
Your time: one discovery workshop of (90 mins), two shorter calls (60 mins) in month one, then around 30 minutes a week approving posts in a shared calendar, plus a 90 minute report and strategy call once per month.

FAQs
How much does a LinkedIn strategy cost?
LinkedIn strategy is included in every done-for-you retainer: light management from £1,500 a month, full management from £2,500 a month. One-off strategy builds start at £2,500, without any commitment to continue on a retainer. Our six-month consulting programme, at £2,500, helps you build and run the strategy yourself.
How long until a LinkedIn strategy shows results?
You'll see reach and profile visits change within 90 days if the plan is followed consistently. Leads take longer for high-ticket offers, because buyers need more trust before they act.
What should I post on LinkedIn?
A mix of Growth content to reach new people, Authority content to prove your expertise and Conversion content to bring in leads. The right balance depends on your goal, price point and current audience size.
Can I run the strategy myself?
Yes. The strategy is written so you or your team can run it. Many clients start that way, then hand execution to us once they see how much time it takes.
Should I post on my personal profile or company page?
Your personal profile. It gets 5 to 10 times more organic reach than a company page.
